Poetry is opening a door to the world that lies between the reality and imagination. The sea is opening a gateway to foreign lands. The sea and the poetry are two bridges connecting what lies here with the unknown that lies there. Through the history The Adriatic sea has been a window toward the world for many countries. And poets have seen through that window in a very special way. Its magnificence and its closeness have brought inspiration and enabled many poets to capture eternal feelings and historical events in their verses. Hand in hand reality and imagination tell the story of this jewel among seas.
In this workshop we will be discussing the image of The Adriatic sea in poetry.
